group pic
I am finally getting around to snapping a pic or two of my GM group.
Not planned but they're all 3 white. For years I always wanted a white truck but never came across one at the time I was buying until the last 3. Burb is the wife's. The 97 GMC I passed down to my daughter when I got the 2000 GMC Z. All GM

Re: group pic
That is a good looking fleet. Just wondering: On the 97, why'd you swap out your composite headlights for four sealed-beam units?

Re: group pic
Thanks. I like the small sealed beams better and the composites dull up. The sealed beams do not dull. And a small change in the look.

Re: group pic
There's a paste available to clear up those lenses...saw it at the shop that did my U-joints. You can get it at most any parts house, Not sure of the name, but tell them what you want to do and they'll get you this paste. From what he tells me it polishes them to a factory finish.

Re: group pic
By swapping the composites out with the sealed beams I eliminated any future polishing on the 97. The 2000 however I'm good right now but eventually they will need to be shined up. Some parts stores sell a lense polishing kit I'm told.

Nice looking fleet. There is a truck here locally that looks exactly like your 97. Same color, wheels, but it is a 88 or 89 because it has the sealed beams factory.

Re: group pic
Cool pictures! I should try to do that some time. I'm actually paying insurance on 4 vehicles and a boat! But I own about 8. I should try that some time.
