what transfer case do I need

I have a 4l80e tranny from a 96 3/4 burb. I am putting it in a 1991 burb that already has a 1997 7.4 in it. However I don't think I can adapt the current transfer case (NPG 241c) on the current 700r4 to mount to the 4l80e. can I use the input gear out of the transfer case from the 3/4 96 and swap it into the 241c? Or should I just try and trade the transfer case for the one that I need? If so.....what transfer case would I be looking for?

Re: what transfer case do I need

I got the t-case you need, came out of a 91 3/4 burb that had a 4l80 and pass drop 241. Has the adapter and VSS, along with 32 spline input and rear output.

But I think all you would need is a 32 spline input for your case and an adapter.
