talk about the luck of the draw

i am an 18 year old senior in high school been moved around the world and back and have been back in texas for 2 years when i got back i started dating a girl that i am now engaged to (kinda young i know everybody says that) but any way when i took her on our first date i was in my klunker 71 custom/20 that you cant talk in but anyway, here family is real poor and she wound up not getting her vehicle until this christmas but her father had purchased her a 72 k5 blazer because she was always talking about how she liked my truck and the way it looked so he did the best that he could do in getting her a similar one and know we have my 71 custom/20 and her 72 k5 and we are getting married in june and the best thing about her is that she loves old vehicles just as much as i do

story

Great story. Myself, I am always on the lookout for my next ex. A couple of past flames went so far as to "pretend" to be interested in trucks. I am not saying that is the case for yourself, but remember. Even the most "fun" girl has the potential to turn into a "fun hater". My ex wife helped me paint my engine compartment, all the while socking money away for when she split. The moral of the story is, love your trucks, like your wife. (or wives) Just my two cents. Well, one cent. Ex got half.

When I met my wife, she had a Yamaha 360 and a Chevy van with 3 on the tree.
We were 17, married at 18 and have done bikes, boats, cars and now trucks.
That was 27 years ago and she still loves the outdoors, racing, cars and trucks, dogs and me.
I hope not in that order.
She is more beautiful today than the day I met her and she still does things that amuse and amaze me.
Life is what you make it.

Hang on to her. If she is willing to start from the ground with you, then the only place you all have to go is up!

Good luck. What I wouldn't give to have my girl interested in these trucks. When I watch like Trucks or Horsepower TV or something, we end up fighing. lol
But that one is definately a real keeper. GOOD LUCK>Hope you have a nice marriage.
Brandon

Here's wishing you many happy years together. Take care of her and she should give you many good years of service. ( the wife and the truck)
I've had my wife and my truck for over 20 years, but I guess the truck would go first if I had to give one of em up
