Brakes, any Aussie truck owners in here?
Don't they drive on the "wrong side of the road there? More importantly don't the trucks there have the steering wheel on the "wrong" side.
I've moved my master cylinder under the cab on my old truck and it points to the rear of the truck. The american MC has the brake line connections on the "wrong" side. Wouldn't the down under version have them on the "right" side for what I need? My chassis is a 80 GMC 3/4ton 4x4 and I can't find the big 1-5/16" or 1-3/8" bore with the lines on the opposite side then the stock usa models. I have changed my 14 bolt to disc's and want a MC that can handle the four disc's with my 39" military Michlins. Any imput would be great.

Re: Brakes, any Aussie truck owners in here?
Can you talk slower, or show me a picture?
So you want a 1 5/16" or 1 3/8" master cylinder with the outlets on the right hand side (with the plunger facing you)? We don't have many Chevs down here so there isn't a RHD cylinder off the shelf if that is what you were hoping for. I would need some info on the 'attaching end' of the cylinder to try and match something up. Some dimensions and photos would be great. Bill. P.S. It would be from New Zealand, not the land of Oz, hope that is ok.....
