carb gasket, you should be able to make the linkage work if the edel comes with the linkage end attached .

I would run a Holley 4160 600 cfm with vac secondaries and elec choke. Beware of used ones. You may have to rebuild it and the adjustments may be totally off from the PO tryin to "tune" it.

If he has the spread bore to square bore adapter, you need to make sure he or you have the right bolts. You need the smooth round bolts or allen headed ones that will screw it to your manifold and regular 6 pts that will come up through the plate and that is what you will set your carb onto and tighten up.

Re: holly carb for sale this one what i need?
You'd be better off with a new Holley. I found a new one for $100 on Ebay. It was a rare once in a lifetime find, though. Seller did not post pics and it was a crappy auction description. I got lucky. The Summit brand carb looks just like the old discontinued Holley 4010 carb that was similar to the old Ford Autolite carbs. Good design, just never caught on in the 4010 for some reason. FordMuscle.com has an awesome review, teardown and install on this Summit carb. Apparently, it's made by Holley and designed by the same guy that designed the old 4010. Has annular boosters. Sounds like a good carb.
