Fitting 33" tires on a 99-06 1500 4x4?
I'm sure it's been covered before but I can't seem to find it by browsing or searching.
I'm driving a 2001 Silverado 4x4 with stock suspension and I'm thinking of going to a 33" tire. What type of lift and/or trimming will I need to do to make them fit without rubbing?

4" suspension will clear 33's easily. 3" body will also. Or, be like Kirk on FSC and clear about anything with nothing. He I think had 33's and 35's on 3" body, maybe just crank and no body with 33's. then 39.5's with 6+3. He always had his truck stuffed like a thanksgivin dinner, now he's doin SAS though. Easy cheap way: 3" body.

3" body will clear up to a 12.5" wide set of 33's. If only 8-10" wide you can just max out your torsion bars.

You can run a 285/75R16(basically a 33x11.50) on stock wheels with nothing, you might have to crank your torsion bars though depending on how wore out they are.
