Air diverter valve - Need help FAST

I have an 83 suburban - c10 witha 350. While replacing the air pump last night i broke the air diverter valve (broke the little air nipple that reads manifold vaccum) the car is running rougher at idle and I can attribute it to that. To get it back on the road i drilled the nipple out and drove a roll pin into the hole and sealed it. The car still runs rough but it is better than not having it.

The air diverter valve on the car has 3 outputs - 2 to exhaust manifolds and a single line that runs to the air cleaner.

My questions? Can i find a replacement anywhere? Gm has disconituned that part number so no luck there...and parts stores only seem to have the diverters with 2 outputs rather than the 3 that mine has.

Can i swap a diverter with only 2 outputs - I have found 5 locally but none with the 3 outputs. Will the lack of the third output affect anything? My car is a california smog equipped truck if that matters.

I need the get this fixed fast so that I can get some road teast miles on it before I drive back to New York for school so any help is appreciated. After a brake master cylinder I will have replaced just about half of all sensors and all mecahnical parts.

Thanks for the help - Kurt

If the ones that go to the exhaust manifolds are not seperated in the diverter valve you could prolly tee them off then connect it to them id imagine... have you tried LMC or maybe a motor type of catalog?

Go to NAPA. That's where I got mine. They had it in stock.

No parts store carries it (I have checked). They all list it as a the air diverter with decelerator valve (the piece that is bolted onto the alternator bracket). I need the part that goes onto the smog pump.

I got one from the pick-a-part today. I will be grafting the nipple onto mine (soldering it into place by melting some plastic pieces. It will be crude but will work until I can find a replacement which is not looking easy.

Re: Air diverter valve - Need help FAST

Well my crude fix didn't work out. Still looking for any help on this. Part is gm part# 17073447. Maybe someone who has access to a parts database could cross-reference the gm part number with an aftermarket source. No parts store is helping me
Thanks
