4x4 cabs
I am dealing with a '72 K20 and need another cab. Can a 2wd. cab be used? I've heard the term high hump used, is this a removable panel that can be put in the 2wd cab? Thanks Wes

Any 4x4 cab or 4 speed cab had the bolt in hump and alot of bigblock/400 cabs did also. The 2wd cab can be converted, but it is some extra work.

If it's a 2 wheel drive cab with a high hump you can just bolt in the 4 wheel drive high hump and you have the proper openings. If it's a 2 wheel drive low hump (like a 6 cyl 3 on the tree) you'll have to cut out the low hump and weld in a high hump. BTW, If you got a 4 speed manual in your 4x4 you have to consider the extra hole in the replacement hump plus the hole for the high/low shifter.

The low hump floors accept the high hump perectly.You can lay the high hump right in place.There is the cut line already.Just cut and install.You`ll want tack weld nuts on the back side of the holes for easy installation and removal.
