Power steering box shaft?
Here is my Power steering box off my 1980 K20 frame (first three) and my other on my 1985 C2500 (last two). The 4x4 one is too eaten up on the inside of the box to reuse but all the parts are good. Can i swap the 4x4 sector shaft into the 2wd box.
Tony

Re: Power steering box sector shaft?
well i am not an expert.. but for cross over steering set ups you usually steal the 2wd shaft... so..
i dont really see any issues.. but i could be wrong ttt?

Re: Power steering box sector shaft?
2wd sector shaft is used on 4x4 for cross over steering.

Re: Power steering box sector shaft?
Yeah, i was thinking about that. I might just end up doing that instead, probably be easier. I got a rebuild kit for the 1st design box so it wont work with the 2nd design box anyway now that i think about it. So i'll try to find an older one at a junk yard. Thanks
