what wheels and tires are correct for 72 blazer ?

Hi every one I have a 72 blazer I brought back to alberta from northern california ..it came with big bfg tires on weld wheels ..It looks cool but doesnt drive well on the highway as it always wants to kick down the tranny at 55mph. also feels like the brakes are working hard to stop it it. the truck has a good running small block and no lift kit .. so Im thinking about getting the right orig wheels and tire size what do you think ? what is the best stock type set up? at the moment im getting ready to put in the new stock bodymount kit ..the truck is really fun to drive .
I also have a 69 sb step thats running a 427 and all new parts ..it needs a little bodywork and paint .I have owned it for 15 years ..its kind of getting ignored now anyone in alberta interested in taking it on ?
thanks for any info about the tire wheel combo on the blazer..
keep on truckin Leon
