This a good deal?
I am thinking about buying a 72 burb. it does not run, there is a 350/700r4 combo in it, was running before, has rust in the rockers, and floor. It is a project but i am unsure if it is worth 1000 dollars, no air or options really, just your plain jane 3 door. let me know guys k. thanks.

I am never sure what something is worth for someone else,... I have only bought one Sub. ... I knew within about 5 minutes of looking at it that I was buying it.
If that is the Sub I wanted I would have paid 1000,1100,1200 for it. Up or down a 100 bucks does not matter if I get what I want. life is good,kent p.s sorry for the wordy reply, but I slept good and the coffee is just right.

Is it complete? If the rust doesnt scare you away and the engine/tranny combo is not trash then I would think its an ok price. Is all of the outer sheet metal in good shape? Its easier for a rooky like myself to replace metal that just gets covered up later. My skills are lacking, maybe yours are much better.
Living up where you are I would think most 40 year old vehicles are swiss cheese. Do you find that to be the case? This would make a $500 truck down south worth much more in the north.

I'd say buy it too..with the rally wheels, a drivetrain good to rebuild if not run now, and a complete truck, 1000 seems a good deal!

are they tough to find up there? a thousand doesn't seem too bad, looks like someone already tried to fix it up. I paid 600 for my 67 and it doesn't run, had rust in both rear quarters, a huge dent in the empty 4th door area, a beat up tailgate, and a beat up passenger fender. but only just under 200 all that is fixed so I think if ur rust isn't too bad then get it. slap him in the face with 800 and hell take it
