Thumbs up Just bought a K5

Hey guys,

Just bought an 87' Blazer K5 4x4

350/700r fuel injected
michelan 31x10.5's
all black
minor rocker rust
replaced rear frame cross sections and supports
PS,PB,tilt,cruise,PW,PL,buckets

for $1325 ( from 1850 )

but, i get it home and the motor for the back doest power the window up and down, so i put down the tailgate, but when i go to put it back up the window springs up (spring loaded) and shatters the limo tint factory glass, now im shopping for new glass (first day ive owned it)

I got it fixed awhile ago, went to cleveland and got it done for $150 with glass, internal guts and motor/cable, goes up pretty quick now, with used parts.

found out that this truck's floor is covered from front to back in 1/4 steel when i went to drill a 9/16 hole for my 4 guage wire going to the amp for my subs, took me about 10min with a craftsman 1/2 drill

only drawbacks i found so far is the 10 bolt front and rear, but they do have posi's equipped.

I think im going to go with a 6" suspension lift, then if i want additional lift i can do a shackle flip then put helpers and a zero rate spring in front to give me the option to move the front forward/back 1.5
