Window Removal
I need some pointers on how to remove the front windshield, and rear window on my 50's cab. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Window Removal
I'll give it a shot. On my 59 I just cut the rubber on the outside about 3/8" from the glass edge then gently pushed it out. Use a helper so it doesn't get away from you. This assumes you are not reusing the rubber. I've never encounter one soft and flexible enough to save.
If the rubber is still in good shape then remove the sealing bead, take a putty knife and run it around inside and outside between the glass and rubber. Make up a mixture of dish soap and water, nice and slippery, and apply to both sides. start at the top corner and work the glass out over the rubber lip and GENTLY move around pulling the glass out slightly as you unfold the rubber. The windshield will be tilting out and slick so have a helper handy. A couple of those $5 suction handles from harbor freight helps too.
