Help Me I.D. Some Parts (sarcasm)

I dug a couple things out and need some help with identifying what they are.I`ve seen alot of trucks and don`t recall seeing either. At least not lately.
First, can someone I.D. this part number?

Then,what is this thing?

Could it be a tissue despenser for a center console?

Re: Help Me I.D. Some Parts

I think you`re on to something there.I don`t think it`s related to the console, though. It`s for mounting to the hump.

Where are the part number guys? Here`s a piece of paper that was in the box:

I recognize that setup. It's for a John Deere tractor. Someone just put it in the wrong box.....

Tim never seen a tissue holder with a GM emblem in the center. All of the ones I have seen and owned/own have the bowtie in the center. By the way that saddle stuff should sell pretty easy- showout

Tell me that box is not hiding some NOS sholder belts. If it is, WOW. That would be super nice to have.

I knew you could solve this for me.I don`t know my tractors.I thought they might be for a Minneapolis Moline or a Cockshut.

I think Rod showed a black one like this once.He asked me to show a picture a few years ago. This was the first time seeing it since then.

Hmmm...I`m not sure the part number shows in the parts book.Maybe they used the patent number to I.D. it.

That center console rings a bell...second row seating in a van, and the rectangular opening was an early attempt heat/ac vent.

Re: Help Me I.D. Some Parts (sarcasm)

Tim, one question for ya. Where do you place a Tissue Dispensor in a 4x4? It won't fit in front of the console for room with the 4x4 shifter will it? Trevor

Oh, and I plan to get that steering wheel shipped out today, going to be gone tomorrow and saturday, so I figured get it out before the weekend for you. That Steering Wheel is going to look pretty darn good with these.

Yes, Leon is right. Those are John Deere belts. They definately wont be of any help to you for sure. Feel free to send them down this way. Heck, I'll even pay shipping and give ya 5 bucks or so for the packing materials and the box.

Re: Help Me I.D. Some Parts (sarcasm)

I have a John Deere!!

Hey Trevor, that sounds good and thanks.I`m not sure on the mounting location.I`ve never even tried. They may not even work with a 4wd.There are long prongs on the bottom to go into the carpet. They may not work with 2spds.I picture it going up as far to the firewall as possible.i can`t say I`ve seen one mounted in any trucks before.

I took these pictures and posted this thread as a last chance to look at the shoulder belts.I traded them to another member. It was a painful decision, but I`m good with it.I know they went to a good home,a family (grandfather) owned low-mileage original.

Tim,
nice belts. i got a full set that color many years ago, i saw a cab at a local body shop sitting on a scrap pile and when i looked inside it i about crapped myself, shoulder belts and seat belts in very good shape. i asked the owner about them and he told me to take whatever i wanted since the cab was going to the scrap yard the next day. i ended up trading them for a corvette 3 spoke wheel and the gentleman i traded them to is now a member here, i can't recall his board name right now but he's up in Idaho, if he see's this i hope he will chime in. his name is Monty Riggenhagen(sp)

The tissue holder can mount either in front of the console/ seat facing the heater outlet or the opposite, facing toward the driver. Tim is correct, there is a fork for lack of a better term that slides under the carpet that holds the tissue holder/trash recepticle to the hump.
