Re: alterd drag truck part 3
The altered drag craze has hit hard. I am surprised to see an altered truck. Interesting.
I am a fan of custom fabrication, but this is a bit much. It will be almost impossible to modify it to the next "in" style. I don't think the altered craze will last too long.

Re: alterd drag truck part 3
Please do. I'd like to see some pics of it rolled outside for a good look at the stance. Never thought of building one of these as a gasser. Here's a pic of my old Mustang gasser.

Re: alterd drag truck part 3
i totally dig the setup but i was wondering what was the rationale when these cars were competing behind taking a perfectly good functioning front suspension and replacing it with a straight axle?

Re: alterd drag truck part 3
So.......why did racers replace a perfectly good functioning front suspension and replace it with a straight axle in the gasser class?

Re: alterd drag truck part 3
The trick was to get as much weight to the back as possible lifting the front helped accomplish this also moving the engine back. Some went as far as to move the rea axel forward which was the start of the altered wheelbase class.
