Power steering pump problem
So...
The freaking bracket for the power steering pump is also attached to the bloody motor mount. (1972 c-10 / 350) So... Does it need to be? After I get this bloody thing off, can I just dremel/grinder/hack saw/sawzall the part off the bracket that goes to the motor mount and run it without? Does it REALLY need that extra support? To tell the truth, the bolt that tightens the belt for my power steering pump is sheered off anyway, and I was using a bungie cord to the frame rail to provide pressure for the belt so that power steering wouldn't go out. Doesn't seem like the bracket would need the extra support... I mean... the alternator bracket doesn't connect to the fricken motor mount or anything and it's just fine. Stupid design anyway... bloody hell...
