Re: wtb used dropmember or pancaked crossmember

I have a 73-87 style c.member that's notched 1 3/8". I made some 1/4" shim plates for it (c.member & motor mount stands) to put the total notch @ a lesser amount (1 1/8").

It's a pkg including c.member w/hardware, 68 steering box w/linkage & the shim plates. You'll need to buy some POL tubular motor mount stands as that's what I used & that's what the shim plates were for.

This was bolted into my 68 & the steering would go lock to lock w/approx 1/8" clearance. I'd take $350 (you pick it up).

I also have an older version PB Dropmember (V1) powder-coated satin black & set-up for sbc. It's was installed in the same 68 as the notched c.member. Includes c.member, sbc motor mount hardware & stands, & surface rusted installation hardware. I'd take 1K for it.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Unfinished @ this point in the pics but I was mocking everything before final welding took place. It's Krylon satin black now (professionally applied of course ). You can also see the MM towers that are not included (they were already painted satin blk).
