Re: Control Arm Shaft/Bushing Kit

when i did a complete front and rear suspension swap. mine was very easy to swap out. i just took off the upper arm off, unbolted both both sides of the bushing, and poped the new one in and tighten.
What year of truck you working on??

Re: Control Arm Shaft/Bushing Kit

Did you ever change the control arm bushings?

I sold my 69 GMC last weekend and it needed to be inspected for the new owner to get insurance and the shop said it needed a new control arm bushing.

How bad of a good is it to change them?

Re: Control Arm Shaft/Bushing Kit

These are not bad to change. Takes some time and big wrenches or sockets.
I recall 1-3/8 and 1-5/8 inch sizes. I would suggest you loosen the nuts before pulling the control arms off. Much easier as the control arms are held in place. Doin this on the floor might not be much fun.
Good Luck
