Midwest All Truck Nationals Sept 11-13 in Riverside, MO (N KC)

Just trying to stir up a little more response from those that might not frequent the regions section of the board. Coming up on Sept 11-13, the KC Chevy/GMC Truck Club puts on one of the best events I have ever attended. It's the....

10th Annual Midwest All Truck Nat's

Check out www.alltrucknats.com for more information related to the show.

Last year we had a great turnout of board memebers and when the weekend was over, we had a ton of great memories (regardless of the rain).

If you would like more information about our (board members) plans for the event, check out the "Who’s going to the Midwest..." thread.

And to put your name on the list for being an attending/participating board member, check out the "FINAL COUNT - 10th Annual Midwest..." thread.

I can't explain in words how much of a great time you will have, so do yourself a favor will just have to attend the event. All the proceeds from the event are donated to KC area Toys for Tots, and several other great charities.

We hope to see you there!

Keep safe, and keep on truckin'!
Nate

Hope to see all the local and not so local forum trucks there. We had a fantastic time last year.... and half of that was in the rain!

Come on gang, if you can make it, get here!!! Ths year is on pace for the largest turnout this show has ever had.

Looking at the show flyer, do you have to sign up for the judged and/or show classes, or just bring the truck and pay a entry fee at the gate? My truck certainly isn't anything to be shown or judged.

If you will note that there are two fees quoted on the show flyer. My bretheren in the club are looking at the fact, that if you want to be judged then the club will let you pay to enter the judging. That will cost a little more than the non judged entry to the show and just have a "GREAT TIME". It will be your choice. I feel that it doesn't matter to me whether or not I get judged at shows, I go for the entertainment and meeting others. On that note, I am one of the judges and I would say, since we have "Drive Through judging", bring that truck over to us and let us go over it and enjoy what you have as much as you do owning it. Our club members have "Drivers" and we do not trailer unless we are stealing someone else's and want to make good time getting away from the cops. LOL

Come have a great weekend, day, two days, or whatever you can do. We talk trucks, sniff carb fumes, and do oil additive treatments.

Re: Midwest All Truck Nationals Sept 11-13 in Riverside, MO (N KC)

Sounds great, Frank. I was just trying to figure out what it would cost me to get in the place...sounds like $20.

Not sure how much time I'll be able to spend...unfortunately the weekend seems to be filling up fast. About what time on Sunday do folks starting closing things up and heading out?

I saw there is a cruise on Friday night, and I assume Saturday is the big day for sniffing and what not.

I met a few of these guys at the kirksville mini meet and they were awesome they made me forget that my truck was broke down 6 hours away from home and then helped me find a place to keep the truck and a way home (thanks ron and slick). I know this will have to be an awesome time i took my only week of vacation just so i can go. plus a chance for your truck to make a magazine (custom classic trucks) and bbq

Made it to the show on Saturday and met a great bunch of folks. Thanks to Nate (72 Black Beauty) and Doug (tsb-1) for doing all the grilling and other work. Thanks to Mrs. Lockdoc for pulling my wife in and making her feel welcome. I'm sure there were many others I missed but thanks to all for making it such a great experience.

Re: Midwest All Truck Nationals Sept 11-13 in Riverside, MO (N KC)

awesome time! it was a great way to represent the website. I believe we will also get a few new members to join the site. I think we made a lasting impression with the editor from Classic Custom Trucks he hung out and chatted with all of us. Kyle even had a photo of his dog taken with his truck by the magazine. His dog was cool it just hung out like the rest of us. Thanks doug and nate for the great bbq. If anyone gets the chance to meet others in a group from the board don't hesitate its like hanging out with old friends.

Yep, safe and sound. It took me two hours to get all of the bugs off of it this morning though..

Guess what, I picked three five gallon buckets of Grapes this evening. Let the wine begin!!!

It was good talking to you Scott. Pat said it was nice getting to visit with your wife and Waynes wife at the show. She & Linda didn't realize Joy was sitting by herself until I went over and told them. It makes it more enjoyable if you have someone to visit with.

I can't say enough about the members we have on this site. I not only met up with several members I had previously met, but I was able to meet several new ones and they all have one thing in common.... they are all stand up members and people.

The weather turned out to compliment the company and with no rain, we had 2 1/2 days of fun in the sun.

For anyone that was unable or reluctant to make the event this year..... mark your calendar's boys and girls!!!!!

If you can't tell from the several hundred pics posted in the Missouri region of the board, this is one heck of an event.

Just so you can't forget in 2010.....

I agree with everyone else. It was an awesome weekend and some amazing company. You all amaze me at your compassion and generosity. I am so very proud to call you all friends.

I will repeat something else already said, if you couldn't make it this year, do everything in your power to attend next year. This show is like no other, the attention paid to just having a safe, family oriented, relaxing good time makes it all worth it. I am awaiting the picture of a few of us in brad's boat taken by the KC club photographer. I will post it up as soon as I get it.

THANKS AGAIN TO ALL WHO ATTENDED AND PARTICIPATED IN ORGANIZING OUR GROUP. Are those dresses?
