Re: Universal wiper motor for 73-87?
Yo! Mine is a direct replacement from LMC. Wiper/washer in one unit for my '78. Functions as stock. Not too expensive, either.
They origonally sent me the wrong unit (wiper motor only) and asked me to keep it when they sent the proper one,...so I have that for anyone who can use it,...postage only. Todd.

Re: Universal wiper motor for 73-87?
The new one is still in the origonal packaging. I'll get a pic in the AM so you can check for a match. Identified by the number of electrical plugs,...mine has two, most have one. I'll include a pic of mine for orientation.
Got any pics of yours? Todd.

Re: Universal wiper motor for 73-87?
Yo! Fat Hoe! (geeze that sounds bad!)
Just checked the item I have, and it is ONLY the washer pump and does not include the wiper motor. Sorry, I thought I had what you needed,...it's been awhile since that step. I'm gettin' old, too,...killed off most of my brain cells by now. BTW, '73-'81 are compatable truck to truck even though there's like three different ones. They are identified by the number of electrical plugs attached to the washer pump. I think LMC can supply you with one and they aren't TOO expensive. I simply needed a washer pump and had to buy the entire unit (pump and motor) due to the lack of availability of the pump! Todd.

Re: Universal wiper motor for 73-87?
Yo! Fat Hoe! (I kinda like that, if it's OK with you, Chuck!)
Well perhaps I CAN help,...perhaps only with ID and source. Little hard to tell from your pic, but my 8MP Sony got this just now: Does this look similar? Third mounting point is behind the washer outputs and I don't have my squirters attached yet (gotta attach the nozzles to the new hood). Todd.

Re: Universal wiper motor for 73-87?
Yo! I'm back.
I'll dig for my LMC receipt and get you the proper order info. I meant ID by eye, and number of plugins,...the source would be LMC, in this case. If it looks like this, you've found the match. Back shortly. Todd.

Re: Universal wiper motor for 73-87?
LMC has the wiper motor (remanufactured) with washer pump for '78-'84 for $99.95, with a $15 core charge. 36-4054-Z. They're at 1-800-562-8782 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. I've dealt with them alot, and I like their people, quality, and service. Not cheap, but I've never been disappointed.
Louder50 would need this unit, or the '73-'77 unit 36-4052-Z for $89.95 with the same core arrangement. Todd. P.S. I live in the country too, and proud of it. Like you, I'll not change that, either.

Re: Universal wiper motor for 73-87?
Yo! Both,...'78-'84 is how they list it. Isn't yours an '84 C10? And visual ID is sufficient. I was checking out 20+ junkyard trucks of these years and they all have similar units, just different number of electrical plugs for the washer pump.
Mountings are identical, and wiper control arm attachment is also. Todd.
