Re: Convertable dually anyone?
It looks like maybe it is a half ton with dually flares on it to cover the big wides. There was an older Dodge near here that used to run around like that. Looks ok on the right set up. That one just makes me say..."umm?"
Reminds me of this Blazer that was at Goodguys Colorado Nationals. It was for sale in the swap meet area. BAD MAMMA JAMMA!

Re: Convertable dually anyone?
Simply put, On the rear axle of a truck you have a pair of extra wide Meats (tires) in place of four tires on the rear. While on the front were standard size tires. This was really popular between '88 & '93. The rears were usually 2 -2 1/2 times wides than the fronts.

Re: Convertable dually anyone?
yea pretty 1990 in about 92 I ran the M/T sportsmen on one of my crew cabs but the big problem was you really need to air them up to help support the weight of the truck so you end up eating the center out of those soft compound tires real fast
yea it was cool for about 3-4 months till I needed tires agine

Re: Convertable dually anyone?
Centerline does make a single rim for the dually that is wide everyone use to use them but now no one does.that truck is just a 1/2 ton with the flares.I have seen a lot of trucks like that around here. There is a company that makes a fiberglass cab with a removeable top.
