best way to drop

what is the best way to lower my truck all around, i heard about blocks and shackles but where can i find spindles for the fronts?

the way I lowered my 71 was by lowering springs and drop spindles in the front the springs were 2 inch and the spindle was 2.5 inch drop then in the rear I used 5inch lowering springs and needed to use c-notches to keep the rearend from hitting the frame. I got most of the stuff from either lmc truck or cpp.

Id say DJM drop spindles. how low are you wanting to go? in all honesty, I never notice much of a rear drop when shackles alone are used. now shackles and hangers do pretty well. a flip kit is an option, but then you need springs in the front unless you want to cut a little out of the front coils, and by this, I mean doing it properly if you want to maintain your ride. IE use a portaband, or cut off wheel, and even then I stick the entire spring in a bucket of water as I was cutting to keep from heating the spring too much. aftermarket springs are readily availiable and even complete static drop kits including shocks. which is a need when dropping these things. all depends on how much you want to spend and how low you want to go man
