It's been a long time

It's been a rough year and a half since I posted on here, mostly due to the economy and such. Dusted off the 47 a few months ago, took it out and blew up the TH350 in it Had my buddy rebuild a 700R4 with some good stuff in it and got it going again a few weeks ago. Took it to the 1/8 mile strip to have some fun on Friday. It hooked better than I thought it would, I was cutting 1.79-1.84 60ft times all night but the trans was shifting weird so my times were 8.20s to 8.40s at 84-85 MPH. Need to switch it over to full manual valve body now.
Here is a crappy cell phone vid of my first run at a drag strip in like 15 years

I think theres more pics on that link, I can't ever figure out to post this stuff directly on here.

Re: It's been a long time

It looks like you have it running pretty good now. I wish I could say that about mine but it will be a while for it.

Re: It's been a long time

It should have a 7.90 in it with the trans working right which should put it in the 12s in the 1/4 mile. It was supposed to just be a street rod
