The 67-72 Trucks message board sure is being used alot to announce events.I realize this is a big regional/national event so I`ll move it to General Discussion so all can see.

I have been many times but haven't went since I retired two years ago. Always ended up by myself and its a long drive. For sure something awesome to go to if you can. If you love 4x4's that is the place to see em.

Well Mudder, we are for sure going. It will be my wife and I along with another buddy who is bringing his 87 Chevy on 38'' with a radical Big Block. We are trailering up there on Friday morning early so we can get a good parking location for Saturday.

Would be great to get a group together.

Have a safe trip. Have you got a place to stay? If you don't I had a place I stayed at west of the fairgrounds and on the same street of the fairgrounds. Was hidden out of the way and had places to eat near.

Last year we stayed at the Red Roof Inn, It was off the beat'n path and was pretty clean and cheap.
We will probably stay there again

State fairgrounds. It is on 38th street I believe right in the heart of Indy. It was at Marion years ago. Up until about 2 years ago they were just using half of the fiargrounds. Now they have all of it I believe.

I actually really liked it when it was at Marion Cty. but it just out grew the place and all of the Jamborees now are done where there are race tracks with all the saftey barriers. Back in about 1980 there was a really serious mud racing accicent in IL. The bogger went into the crowd. Since then they are all inside of tracks. They are getting upwards of 5000 trucks entered now each year.
