What is this on my Th350? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Does anybody know what this goes to on the TH350 transmission? Its on the top of the trans? Is it a breather or something? I've never seen any pics of it being hooked up to anything.

Yes that is the breather. It doesn't need to be hooked up to anything, Just make sure it is open and not plugged.

That is the vent tube.. nothing hooks to it..

that is the fresh air intake for your caneuter valve, for more performance, hook a line from it to your muffler bearing pressure output line and hang on
