need help fastt!!!
im swapping out the motor in my 85. would it be eaiser or even worth it to pul the front clip off or would that leave me with more work

More work, IMO. I have done it both ways, but there is plenty of room with the front end on.

thankyou im takin out the stock 355 and put in a built 4 bolt motor. in your opinion whats the hardest part.. i have swapped motorsin stangs and camaros but never a truck. does it go real smooth or is there anything to look out for

Lots of room in there so I would leave the front clip on. If I were to do it again then I would take the hood off at most

well its the stock 350 rebuilt and bored .30 over. everything but the exhaust is stock so in my book its stock lol

i got another question while im at it im putting a double roller timing chain in a 4.3 v6 vortec tomorow. will it fit under the timing cover ok?

i would say leave it on too.it's 2wd and you should be able lift the engine high enough to get it out.i pulled mine off but mine is a lifted 4wd so it made my life easier.
