installed locker in the HO52
It is done. Did it last night in about 1 1/2 hours. Now reassemble the rear end and test.
Piece of cake.

Purchased a factory locker unit from a board member here a few years ago. Don't even remember who now.
Dropped the member out the front and tore it down. Removed the spider assembly and installed the locker. Tore down again because the washer on one side of the locker was too big to come out. Ground two flats on the washer and reinstalled one more. This time all was good. Released the locker and torqued the ring gear. Tightened the caps snug. Adjusted bearing preload and the set up the dial indicator and set the gap. Torqued caps. I will put the unit back into the housing next and repeat the process installed just to confirm lash. Final cleaning of housing, paint and install to the new lift kit. Movin on.
