New Arizona Guy

Hey everybody. I'm a college junior this year at Arizona State, and I'm working on a '64 GMC C1500 that's been sitting forgotten on our little piece in Flagstaff for the last 15 years.

She belonged to my great grandpa, who bought it new and put her to hard work first for the Santa Fe railroad, and then the National Forest Service.

My brother and I aim to restore her to her former glory! I know we're going to rely heavily on the expertise of y'all over the next few years and I want to thank you in advance!

Very cool. We have had a bunch of folks joining lately who are restoring family history.
Be sure and check out the 60-66 area. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/forumdisplay.php?f=6

Re: New Arizona Guy

Thanks for the welcome, everybody. I hate to say the progress will be slow, since we have hardly any money to spend on the project at the moment, but we'll do our best.

My brother is a junior in high school, and he's driving a '92 Ford Bronco POS Edition, which we're hoping to sell or scrap once the Jimmy is drivable.

Thanks again, everybody! I'm really excited to get started.

Re: New Arizona Guy

to the board from Mid-MO!!!

You'll find this place to become your second home. There's tons of information, friends, parts, .... and so much more.

It sounds like one heck of a project, but it should be fun building it with your brother. Best of luck!
