Exclamation (5) Perfect 6 Lug Traditional 15" x 7" Steelies and Tires! (Kansas City Area 66216)

Want a full set of traditional steelies for your 50's thru 70 GM?? I/m not just selling 4 rims and tires, but I am selling 5 so you even get a perfect spare! This is GREAT for you that have an exposed spare. Only ran 200 miles on these since I mounted them last year.

-15" x 7" steelies. Custom built by RallyAmerica in AMERICA. Perfect matte gray finish. 6" x 5.5" bolt circle, 4.5" backspaced, inside mounting tabs. Bought last year.

-Uniroyal Tiger Paw Rallye Series 235/70/15 tires. Perfect. Never flat, never abused, NO dryrot. Bought last year for the rims.

-Mounted and balanced with stick on weights mounted on the back side of the rim for cleanliness..... and no rubbing on tie rods for you lowered guys.

-I'll throw in a full set of stock open acorn lug nuts. talk about a bolt-on upgrade!

$500. (paid right at $1000 for the whole set when I bought these last year.)

as you can see, these rims and tires are perrrrfect! no disappointments, period.

Re: (5) Perfect 6 Lug Traditional 15" x 7" Steelies and Tires! (Kansas City Area 6621

hey there,
first off, that's a great looking set up...rims, truck and all. I'm just completing a '68 Chevy panel truck resto and I was thinking I'd want to run on something just like what you're offering but I have a couple of questions, to which everyone will probably know the answers, but anyway. Is the backspacing pretty standard and/or the same as factory? My wheels seem to sit way to far inside the wheel well so I'm guessing that's why you mention the backspacing, as in that fixes that look. They look great exposed as you have them but would they take a hubcap if I wanted to put some on? and really the last question is would shipping kill this great deal? I would have them shipped to Detroit or Port Huron Mi.

Thanks, and sorry for the novel.

Re: (5) Perfect 6 Lug Traditional 15" x 7" Steelies and Tires! (Kansas City Area 6621

Rob,
backspacing for these rims are 4.5", which is quite standard on rims for these model of trucks. I run a 1/2" spacer in the rear to compensate for the disc brake conversion I have up front.

these rims have the inside cap nubs, so the caps that would fit well on these would be the 67-68 caps, or any caps that's listed on here:

http://www.rallyamerica.com/12series.html

I checked the shipping costs and the best I found would be from Forward Air @ $100 flat to a Detroit Forward Air terminal. not bad!

Robb67 is up first. if he doesn't want them, Invicta455 they are yours.

Invicta,
the best price I found for shipping to NC would be with Forward Air @ $131 flat to a Charlotte Forward Air terminal. picking them up at the Charlotte terminal will save you BIG! if you want them delivered to Greensboro, it will be $170 because the they will have to transfer from Charlotte to Greensboro.

again, not too bad for 300 lbs of tires and wheels!

tcb-1,

How far are you from 72BlckButy? I am coming to see him in October and could pick these up for someone in the Mid TN/KY or NorthEast Alabama/North West GA area or anywhere along my route home or if someone wanted a shorter drive to pick them up I could hold them at my house. I am 1 hour North of Nashville TN. Maybe that will help sell them for you.

Brian.

No sweat. Here is my schedule and routes for Oct and Nov

Mid October leave Clarksville TN 37043 and drive to see 72BlckButy somewhere around Kansas City. Not sure of the exact route yet but whatever gets me there the quickest. I will probably take the same route home.

November 19th Drive from Clarksville TN to Fort Benning GA travelling through Nashville TN, Chattanooga TN, Atlanta GA. This will be later on in the evening.

November 20th go from Fort Benning GA to Gadsden AL But I will have to check the exact route on this one but I think I will pass through Birmingham AL. If not then I can come home through Birmingham and drop them off along I-65 all the way to Nashville TN.
