The Wallet Eater getting new shoes - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

They're on the way.

Many of you have come to know and love the Wallet Eater's current set of shoes, with their "character" (some use the word 'dirt'). But it's time to get some wheels that better fit my widened bed and PB DM. New wheels and tires should be here in the next few days. Pics to follow.

A special feature of the new ones is that they're chrome. I've been biatching about having to polish wheels for too long (as is evinced by the fact that the current wheels haven't been polished in quite a while-- I'm leaving the grime on them as a sort of protective coating to the metal underneath).

Hint: This is not them--

I am glad you decided to go with the 30's. I think it will pull the whole theme of the truck together.

I'll shoot you a note when I get the new ones on to see if we can work something out. If you do want the old ones, you'll need to rest your elbows... 'cuz they're going to need some major cleanup and polish.
