I was wondering about why textured glovebox lids are special/sought after? My 67 has one. Are they rare?

Less had the textured door..mostly a 68 and/or GMC thing. Some ppl love them and think they are awsome, others think they blow.
I don't see the big deal myself...but others thingk my chrome/black door looks stupid.

I would like to find a chrome one and try what Andy did, except with a texture to match the dash panel.
