Wow! The wheels look great. Your painting looks fine. With the tires mounted and on the truck, the eyes will not pick up the mistakes. Now, you will know where each one is located, and if some bonehead has his face down on the wheels examining them he might notice.

Put'em on and be proud of the work.

Yeah, they look good. Besides, when you're rollin' and someone is good enough to spot any blemish while they're spinnin....you can go ahead and agree with 'em.....when they're head stops spinning.

Those my friend, turned out nice!!!!

And I think your painting skills are just fine... you have to remember that the caps didn't come 100% perfect even from the factory.

Now when are we getting pics of these things mounted???

Re: not too bad. old school painted rims and caps

Um, were going to need a pic of those on the truck lol. How wide are those btw? I want to eventually find a set of that style as wide as I can find for as cheap as possible for my K20. I'm thinking old Ford wheels might be 7" and stick out a bit further. Then use Chevy dog dishes. I'm shooting for the look of 16.5" factory wides in 16". If I had the dough I'd probably pony up for some Stocktons.

I did some caps like that too and I kinda felt the same way...wish I were a better painter. I did mine with a rattle can tho. It's a Beeyoche taping all that stuff off and painting three different colors.

As long as you like them you can tell all the negative ppl out there to **** off. Good to see ppl stick with steelies, where I live people only want flashy chrome, no respect for vintage or classic. How about some nicewhite walls on em?

well they are on, they look great. how ever, the dumb asses at the tire store put a few of the weights on the OUTSIDE of the dam rim before i could stop them. of course they screwed up the powder coating, so Friday i have to take the truck back and they will have a guy to fix them.. im so pissed i could kill someone.

anyway, the good side is, they look great! nothing better than how the factory made em...

Photo of damage. Ughr!
