Parting out soon: 1970 GMC Suburban 3/4 ton

ok, i got to look over my 1970 suburban and decided that there is a lot more rust on it than I want to deal with. Therefore, it is getting parted out.

I am keeping the front end to swap onto my blazer, and the motor/trans/transfer case to build up. Other than that, i believe i am going to sell everything.

Some of the parts I know will be sold:

Factory tow hooks - $275 shipped
radio delete plate - $25 shipped
gauge cluster with gauges, no tach ~60k showing. - 65 shipped

rear wheel tubs - Not ready yet
spare tire tubs - Not ready yet
green dash pad - Not ready yet
Speedostat Cruise Control system - Not ready yet
Trailer brake system - Not ready yet
Aftermarket underdash AC unit and parts - Not ready yet
rear door parts - Not ready yet
rear filler cover - Not ready yet
Eaton HO52 No-Spin rear end. 4:56's I believe - Not ready yet
Bolt on skid plate for above - Not ready yet
Rear side trim - Not ready yet
Rear carpet hold downs - Not ready yet
2nd gas tank under rear seat - Not ready yet
Dual tank selector switch and associated components - Not ready yet

Will sell the frame, with title, glove box, and driver's door pillar. Frame is in very good shape, no rot. just surface in a couple spots. Hitch welded to frame. Will include the remainder of the body too.

I will also cut out portions of the body for anyone who wants them, as I will be junking whatever isn't sold or in my garage.

prices will be added once I get pictures of the parts and they are ready to be removed. I can only get up there to remove parts once during the week, and once on the weekends, so bear with me. I will add prices and parts once I have them removed or ready to remove.

How's the left front fender?

I am not sure if you meant "front end" as the front axle or the hood, fenders and grill...

Re: Parting out soon: 1970 GMC Suburban 3/4 ton

I'll have to research the prices on some of these, as I don't have a clue what they are worth yet.

The Lock cylinders are there, but the key I have does not work them. Going to try and have a key made by a lock smith if possibly so I don't have to worry about people taking parts from it.

By front end, I mean the front clip, fenders, hood, grill, core, etc so I can swap my blazer to the GMC front end.

Lockout hubs turn freely. They say spicer on them. Will have to research their price too.

There are several people who have PMed me or posted here about the tow hooks. Once I figure out a price, I will either go in order that I received questions about them, or I can put them on ebay for free-market to make the decision. Not sure which way would be fairest.

And I was able to get more pictures last night. Take a look:

This is the only picture I have of it. I can look closer when I go back later this week.

As an FYI, The truck is located about 15 minutes from me at my parents house, since the City and the GF didn't want it in the driveway, and it doesn't quite fit in the garage at the moment. I tried to take a bunch of pictures, which are in the link in my previous post, but if there is something you need to see, let me know and I'll try and get it on my next trip there.

Also, are you keeping the transfer case shifter? I would be interested in the transfer case knob (if the 4x4 pattern is on it) and shifter linkage Thanks

This is just a reminder of the rules:
No PM sales are permitted
Prices MUST be included in for sale threads
No sales permitted where bidding is involved. Prices MUST be stated. 'Making an offer' is not acceptable.

Thank you....

Asked to have this locked as I realize I won't be able to get back and remove stuff for atleast a week or two. Will come back with it more organized and prices added once stuff is off the truck.
