Need help on a cowl hood

Guy has a 2in steel cowl hood from Kenny's trucks. I don't know much about it, or which place sells a better hood. It's used, and has a small ding at the front of the cowl. He wants $275 firm. From the pic it looks really dirty but it looks to have never been painted, just the black gelcoat.

Re: Need help on a cowl hood

Silly me! What the hell is "Kenny's Trucks"? Need help on if $275 is good? It's a 3hr trip also. It may, of may not be a good deal.

Re: Need help on a cowl hood

that's what I paid for my hood, maybe even $300 a few years ago, and I felt like I got a really good deal on mine. Mine was a used hood too, but didn't have any dings. They resale for $450 or higher, I don't remember now and prices may have went up or down since then. I think it's a good deal for ya. Kenny's Trucks is a good place for parts, I just seen them down at the Springfield MO swap meet a couple of weeks ago. I have bought some parts from them in the past down there. Trevor

Re: Need help on a cowl hood

Don't think I can get this one. It's $275 for the hood, $40 for gas, if not more, and $12 for Tolls. I'll regret it later probably, but don't think my better half will go for it. I did recently bag my truck, and finished my Rockcrawler. I'll have to just pay full price later.

I've bought from Kenny since 1994. You can trust the guy. He's solid.

Re: Need help on a cowl hood

these hoods retail for 389.00 around these parts so u can save a little if you can fix the ding otherwise you have to figure the bodywork costs so it may be a loss or even.
