Hood pins?

Anybody here ever install Chevelle SS/Camaro style hood pins on their 73-87? I bought a 2" cowl induction hood and am painting it Hugger Orange with black stripse and thought it might be a cool idea and also do away with the problems of the old pull cable set up??

Are these the most expensive hoodpins you could find or what?!? They do look nice though. I like the first, but they look like they may be huge. EDIT: just saw the link. Not bad at all. More than a "normal" hood pin but those are sweet.

That truck needs the wheels black but the hood pins look decent on there. I think Hugger Orange, with stripes would help them blend in to a truck hood too.

Yes, exactly like those. Did you drill into the top of the core support to mount them? They look like they are mounted more forward than I was thinking.

Re: Hood pins?

The point of the cable is to have "somewhat" of a lock. If that is needed where you live/work/park, you might look into it a little more. The ones that N2TRUX linked are really nice
