Frame VIN Help
I have done a search on VIN decoding but am still not sure if I have this right. The frame VIN reads 7S1235222. Does this indicate that the frame is a
'67 frame? The fella I bought this truck from told me it was from a 69. |

Yest the frame is a 1967, manufactured in St. Louis.
I think you have one to many of numbers in 1235222, it should be a six digit number. It should all match the last half of your vin number on the title and glove box sticker and serial plate on the door jam.

Thanks, I did put one too many 2's at the end. This explains why the radiator support mounts were not fitting properly. I don't think I would ever get this thing together without the help from the people on this forum.
If I get the 67 radiator support mounts, will the later model radiator support mount to the frame properly? |
