Finally Got my exhaust finished

This was a long job for some reason. I'm used the header back kit from dynomax/thrush. Overall I'm happy with the sound, but I'm not sure I would purchase the kit again. I would have like to have 2.25" pipes, these are 2.5", I do like the mufflers though. I had problems with the supplied H-pipe so I ended up using a summit x-pipe.

its lower than I would like, but I can't see it causing any problems. Its all clamped up for now, but once I'm satisfied with it I'm going to weld up a good amount of the joints to quiet it down a bit more.

Going to have to do some tweaking to get the spare in there too. And its not as close to the track bar as it looks, but the over axle pipes were a 'challenge' to get in there.

And a movie... see how shiny my paint is

The kit looks good, and sounds nice.

Maybe it's just me but doesn't it seem like those pipes are hanging a little low? Great job though.

I feel the same way. I think its the long tube headers. if I swap back to the manifolds or 3/4 headers then i think I could get the pipes up a bit. but the truck is not lowered so there is still a good amount of clearance to the ground and the scrub line.

the kit is ~$229 I think, includes 2 mufflers and the x-over pipe as well.

and thanks for the kind words!

Re: Finally Got my exhaust finished

they are the thrush turbos. I like the sound. a little more 'harsh' than flowmasters, but not so loud. it is very quiet in the cab with no insulation. should be ever better once I get it insulated.

and yes. I am exhausted! no more driveway jobs for me. I miss my shop!
