Here is my truck

Hello, I am new to this board and would like to show y'all the truck that was passed down to me from my grandpa who had it for 20 years. My grandpa started getting too old to drive and the truck sat in his backyard for 5 years where it got hailed on which made it look pretty rough. It is a 1970 longbed. I am 17 years old and drive it everyday to highschool. It also happens to be the oldest vehicle there. I don't have many good pictures and most of them are from when I first started working on it. I will try to get some better ones as soon as I can.

Re: Here is my truck

Thanks for the good comments everyone. The headliner was done before my grandpa bought the truck so I don't know where it was done at. I like it a lot.

Re: Here is my truck

from Ohio and to the finest site about 67-72 Chevy Trucks. Personally I like 1970 Chevy Trucks best. That would have nothing to do with the fact I own a 70 LWB. It is neat your truck was handed down to your from your grandpa. Oh yes...nice lookin truck.

Re: Here is my truck

The tailgate has been like that as long as the truck has been in my family. I imagine the previous owner just shaved the original tailgate
