New guy from San Bernardino CA.
Hey Guys-
My name is CJ and I am from cali..I have a CA registered 1973 stepside..But here is where it gets tricky..It is a 1979 3/4 ton LWB(shortened to SWB) frame and drivetrain, with a 1973 SWB cab and stepside bed...It has a corp 10 with 8 lugs up front and a corp 14bolt 8 lug out back..typical chevy 350 with, from what I understand, an untypical TH400/NP203 combo....It has saddle tanks and all the buggy problems associated with purchasing this type of vehicle from a friend..lol..Only real problems I have now are cosmetic, some wiring and electrical issues(minor), interior(soft items mostly) and one of the most annoying part throttle rich problems ever..lol..I know what it is..It's the Rochester APT adjustment..Just haven't gotten around to leaning it out and testing it some more..All in all one of the best purchases I have ever made!..I have been browsing this forum for awhile and thought i would introduce myself and say Hi..And warn ya'll I will be asking for advice and possible purchase of alot of parts as i run into the missing, broken or screwed up parts on mine..lol..I will post pics up as soon as I can and as the project progresses..and thanx in advance for the future help!! |

Re: New guy from San Bernardino CA.
to the board from Mid-MO!!!
You'll find this place to become your second home. There's tons of information, friends, parts, .... and so much more. Gald to have you aboard CJ, and like most trucks on this site, PO's can put together some of the best (or worst) creations. Be sure to check out the 73-87 Message Board, as well as starting a build thread with your truck. Keep safe and keep on truckin'!
