Brake Problems!

A buddy of mine has a 1970 2wd chevy with drum brakes all around. whenever he stomps on the pedal it pulls really bad to the left. I bled the brakes and adjusted them and they worked great...didnt pull at all. but then a couple of weeks go by and they are pulling to the left again really bad. what can I do to fix this??!!

Thanks, Zack

Re: Brake Problems!

First, they might just need to be readjusted. Sometimes after replacing the brakes and allowing them to break in, they will need to be readjusted. Secondly, you might have a collapsed front brake hose. One test would be to get the front wheels up in the air, pump the brakes a couple of times, and hold them down. See if both drums will not move. If the right moves, and the left does not, you may have a bad right brake hose??? If you replaced the brake shoes, wheel cylinders, and turned the drums, I would think this is where you need to look.
