disk swap

getting ready to put 71-72 spindles on my 69. are there any differance in the ball joints? i know the tie rod ends are different. can you think of any other 71-72 parts i will need. thanks guys

Yes the ball joints are different. They look similar but the taper is different. Do you already have the brake booster and prop valve?

no booster or valve yet, this is a frame off build and doing the frame and suspension now. thanks for the response you probally saved me trip back to napa

If you are gonna change the inner and outer tie rods you'll need the center steering link also. I'm currently in the process of saving up and getting the parts to do the same with my '69. I think there is a tie rod adjuster you can get that has the different threads for 71-72 outer's and your stock inners.
