Re: O'Reilly Street Nats - L@@K!!
The yellow 32 & turqouise 57 are friends of mine from the Dallas area.
The owner of the 57 invited me to ride along for the event but I had to work. BTW, our very own N2Billet & his buddy Roger did alot of work on that 32 back in the day. . . .....

Re: O'Reilly Street Nats - L@@K!!
Oh yeah, I was there at a little after 9am, but had to leave at 1pm to help the wife with an open house at work. I took a buncha pix but was disappointed with a lack of "our" trucks. Adam got what was there. I didn't get the orange one but the truck that most amazed me was this '66 El Camino from Texas. All of the original trim on this thing was stripped of the anodizing and then had the dents/dings removed before he made them look like brushed stainless steel. He said there's no coating on it at all, now. The engine compartment is a work of art. He was wearing an ISCA hat so I know this is a show truck, but boy does it show well!
Lotsa nice stuff, but like I said on the 88-98 forum, I guess I'm a truck guy.

Re: O'Reilly Street Nats - L@@K!!
Owner says it is titled as a '66, but it has '65 emblem on the cowl. He told me a tale of his 20-year ownership of a '66 LWB that burned when his MSD started a fire on the firewall, while it was parked in his garage.
The '66 silver Ford has a twin-turbo set up on it. As for all the huffers, yeah that was a sight to see. Just didn't see any of them in a truck aside from the turboed FoMoCo. They had a new Camaro on the dyno with the LS-9 engine in it and it sounded like it had an afterburner on it when it got revved-up.
