Re: 275/60/ 15 tire question

It will work on the GM wide factory wheels. It will look good on a stock ride height vehicle. Sorry no pics, but I had Firestone SS radials onan 87 2wd for years, 2 sets. Worked and looked great.

Re: 275/60/ 15 tire question

They work fine on a 10 inch rim but they tend to look ballooned out a little bit. I think they look best on an 8 inch rim.

325/50/15 is the perfect size for a 10 inch rim and the sidewall profile will look just like a 275/60/15 on an 8 inch rim, but you can only get them in drag radials.

Re: 275/60/ 15 tire question

this tire fits fine on a 10 inch rim. I'm running them on the back of my truck and there on widened factory wheels. my truck is lowered 6in the back and i think that it looks great.

Re: 275/60/ 15 tire question

The Silverado wheels were two widths, My 87 had the wider ones, guessing 10", assume they were part of the trailer towing package.

Re: 275/60/ 15 tire question

It depends on the tire. I have seen 275/60 BFG Radial TA's on a 10" rim and they looked good. Other tires looked really ballooned.

I opted to go with a 295/50 on my 10" rim just because I like the wheel to fall in line with the manufacturers specs for the tire.
