Suburban conversion
Saw this while my family and I were heading to dinner last night. I thought you guys would enjoy it. From what I saw of it, it used to be a Suburban that someone cut down and closed off in back. Kinda had a cool look to it.

Re: Suburban conversion
It's a retro Avalanche. Would look good if they had done the rear a little different. Get rid of those big triangular panels and make the rear of the "cab" look more like a truck. Doesn't look terrible though.

I would have done it a bit different though. I think the rear needs to be shortened... and the piece behind the rear doors is a bit too thick

Re: Suburban conversion
Didn't think of it that way, but that is exactly what it is. I wonder how long ago it was done. I should have left a note on it to find out more, but it was raining. Maybe I will see it again another time.

Re: Suburban conversion
It's kinda cool. The guy who ownes it is probably the designer for GM that designed the Avalanche. Not exactly how I would have done it but cool none the less.

Re: Suburban conversion
I don't know what his goals were on interior space, the Sub would look a bit better if those C-pillar sails were a little smaller.
But it's not bad. |

Re: Suburban conversion
I will keep my eyes out for it. And try to look closer at it or see if the owner knows anything. It had a temp plate on it so he may not know a thing.
