Can I use a duelly rear end?
Is a duelly dana 70 or 14 bolt the same as a single wheel truck?

I believe they are narrower than single wheel trucks.

I know that the dually dana 70 is wider than a single or a dual wheel 14 bolt.

Duallie trucks with pickup boxes have very wide axles and weren't made until 73. Duallie trucks sold as cab/chassis have narrow axles. 67-72 duallies have the same axleshafts as single rear wheel trucks. Every 73-up duallie PICKUP I have seen had a Dana 70.

Yes, Duallie is correct. The pickups with regular beds had dually axles the same width between the drums as the single wheels. Vehicles such as the cab/chassis models, bread trucks, motorhome chassis, etc., had a narrower rear end. They have the same spring perch width, but the drums are almost touching the springs.
