Tach pics ??????
I need to see some pics of after market tacks, to get a idea of how this is done. I know I need to do some triming, but would like to see pics of the back of a dash if anybody has any....... it would help alot if you guys could help me out here.........I just redid my dash with in white and now I'm trying to figure out how to put the tack in.......... oh yea a freind of mine at
www.chevroletrestorationworld.com is selling brand new or rebuilt - original tach dash's for $250.00 I just thought I'd throw that out to see what you all think "CHEAP" comes to mind..... I've seen them & they are sweat & I think the tach goes up to 6-7 r.p.m's if you go to the ad I know the price is $509......not the same these are done by a freind of ours & they had one up there held it looked at it & they are sharp if I didnt have the money tied up in this dash I have now I would buy one....still might get one....lol

When i installed my tach, i cut the black piece out, hacked the lens, and then took a hemmer to the rear cover. I only had to move it an inch or less, so i figured what the heck...it worked fine.
