Which heads to use
I am building a stock 350 with a mild cam and headers. I have two sets of heads. One set is 3998920 the other is 333882 in the heavywieght casting. Which ones will be better? They both appear to have the same size valves.

I'm not familiar with the 920s but based on past experiences with 882s, I'd go with the 920s, they can't be any worse.

I would use the 882s, or try to find some better heads. The 882s are supposed to be the best of the common smog heads, but they still aren't great. There are good heads around if you are lucky. I have found a set of ready to use 487x heads, and a set of 291 camel humps that might need some work, both for really cheap. Since you are just building a stock engine though, the 882s would be fine.

the 882s,if they are the heavy castings are a good head. I dont believe all the flow numbers Ive read on them though..they say they flow as well as vortecs and good fuellies. for a mild build they would be fine.
