my brakes?????????

I started off changing my rear brake shoes and I proceeded to bleed brakes, no brakes still, I checked front shoes just fine, so I changed the master cylinder got a nice brake pedal when truck is off drove it and could not stop, as far as I can tell the brake booster seems to work fine no air sounds and not a really stiff pedal.I have visually check for leaks nothing that I can see any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

More details will be needed to accurately help. What did the pedal do when you experienced the "no brakes still" comment?

they were going down almost to the floor but it seemed as though none of the shoes were expanding out almost like no friction there.

Did you bleed the master cyl independently before installing it, connecting & bleeding the lines?

It may sound crazy, but did you expand the shoes out to meet the drum after installing the new shoes?

Yes we did bleed the master cylinder, but I will have to check and see if he (my father)adjusted the rear brakes.
