Your Opinions please
Ok I have decided that I'm going to try for OU which means I wont be selling my truck when I go to college. So what should I do first?

man tough call. I would probably have to pick #2. exterior/paint. Only because if you put it off it may never get done, and the body will only keep rusting and denting, etc. You can always build a motor or install a radio.... plus its so rare to see a NICE looking 73-87 on the road.. lots of them have work done but when you see one that looks really nice, it stands out, and youre like "wow" thats a sweet looking truck, regardless of whatever else is done to it. Now that my truck is mechanically done, I dont see myself doing the paint body anytime soon because I keep putting it off (Too much time & $$! but what else is new?)
oh well just my opinion. take it with a grain of salt mike |

Depends. If your engine is good condition then I would look into a tranny (if needed), then the interior. You want to be comfortable driving. Exterior is a good chioce but I'd want to have everything else done before then. Even if it means primering a fender or something then so be it. The paint is the last thing I'm doing.

In my Humble opinion, Body and Paint.
If it runs ok you may as well be lookin' great.

thanks for all your input guys. My computer is really screwed up right now so I wont be able to post as much for now. It looks like the 383 is winning so far. The price on the 383 will be over $3000, the interior will be around $1300, and the paint and hood would be around at least $500.
