'82 SWB Project Truck - Also Available BBC 454 (Details inside)

Located in RI (Rhode Island). I have an '82 Project truck that I'm going to sell. I just don't have the time to deal with it right now and it deserves to be worked on. I'm listing it here because it is a project and needs work. Ok here is what I have:

1. '82 SWB Chassis (Super solid), Has a '76 Open Rear End, and a '76 Front Crossmember with the wide rotors.
2. '82 2wd (low hump) Cab. This is in SUPER solid shape for for a New England truck. Cab Corners are gone, rockers have some holes. The floors are solid, inner rockers are solid, firewall seem is perfect.
3. '89-'91 Jimmy Nose. Rust Free Fenders, hood is nice, support is solid. All parts are original GM. No inner fenders.
4. '89-'91 Blazer Nose. PERFECT Hood, support is good, grille is nice. Fenders are Aftermarket. Inner fenders are '73-'80 and were butchered to get them in.
5. '81-'87 SWB Fleetbed with a Drivers side fuel door. Floor is very nice (one spot in the right rear coner (but I have a piece from another floor) Typical rot behind the wheels (I have the patch panels). There are a couple of small pinholes above the wheel wells - but very repairable. The front panel is pretty straight, but has a big rip. This bed is one of the nicer ones for new england and as I said very repairable.
6. '73-'80 Tailgate, Rust/ROT FREE & STRAIGHT!!!!!!!!!!
7. Pair '82 GM Manual Doors (on the cab). Bottoms are rotted.
8. Pair '89 GM Blazer Power Doors. Bottoms are rotted.
9. 2 Drivers Side Aftermarket Doors
10. 1 Passenger Side Aftermarket Door
11. Pair Aftermarket '73-'80 Fenders (Some dents, no rust)
12. Tilt Column in the '82 Cab
13. Near Perfect Dash in the '82 Cab (1 small crack near the windshield that you don't notice). It is an ugly bright blue color.
14. Factory GM Aluminum mags (Tires are junk) - I no longer have the rally's that are pictured (sorry)
15. Good W/S & back sliding (non-tint) glass.
16. Rear paintable step bumper in good shape
17. Front bumper is in good shape as well.

There is probably more that I'm forgetting. I have 2 new Tri-Plus Rockers, 2 Cab corners, and 2 of the Lower rear bed patches.

There is NO MOTOR or TRANS included just to be clear

$1100 Firm for all of the truck stuff (I'm not ready to split it all up - so please don't ask or "get in line if you decide to part")

$SOLD!!! Firm for the BBC

Delivery is available - RI, CT, MA, Southern ME, Southern NH, Southern VT, Eastern NY. Rates & further distances can be discussed.

I have more pictures - of the underside if you are interested. I can get pictures of whatever you want, so don't be afraid to ask.

Sounds like a good price for someone. Good luck with the sale.

I'm trying to be reasonable with the price as it does need work, but there are a ton of parts and there is a TON of potential.

I think your price is very fair. If I were within a reasonable distance i'd really consider this. Good luck with the sale, it should go to someone on here with some time, it's not that far from being a nice truck.

The GMC nose was on the truck when I got it. The cab is a GMC as far as I know. The trim that was on the back of the cab said GMC and was factory (it's gone now). The Chassis VIN and the Cab Vin I believe are the same - so the chassis should be GMC as well. The clip that is on it now was off a '89-'91 Jimmy as far as I know.

It had a stepside bed with a GMC gate on it when I got the truck, but the whole bed was pretty rough. I picked up the fleet for it and sold the stepper. I found the mint Chevy gate at a swap meet. I kinda like the '89-'91 Chevy grille better than the GMC anyway, but I'm including both noses in the sale.

If you were closer, I would have already bought everything. Your price is very fair, so it must be the location. You could always try eBay. That being said, I have to ask a question that I think I already know the answer to. Would you be willing to separate and ship one of the noses? I would prefer the GMC, but it doesn't really matter. I would need the core support and everything else to convert my '86. Let me know if this is something you would want to do. Thanks and good luck with the sale.

I'm going to hold off on splitting it up for now.

Re: '82 SWB Project Truck - Also Available BBC 454 (Details inside)

I know you are not ready to split things up yet but when you are I would love to get the Blazer nose. I will come to you and get it, if and when your ready, also I would be interested in the doors (a/m ones) if they are not rotted.

I am restoring an 85 k20, and I need a cab but I am looking to go rust free as mine is really shot.

Let me know if you are interested or you can PM me with a phone # and I will call you, I cant PM you yet I dont think I have enough posts.

Back up. Still have the truck. I'd like to get rid of it before the snow flies (well anymore than it already has)

Sorry I can't do it. In order for me to get rid of it, I need to make the deal as appealing as possible.

Buy the whole thing and part it out

I would but I need a long box truck. Beleive me, all that extra stuff would just sit around on me like it is for you LOL. How is the cab again? Mine is rotted, bad doors, fire wall, and some butcher already hacked up the floor.

I also for got what you were asking for it too.

How much for either nose? What all do I need to swap my 83 to one of those? Core support, grille, bezels?

Hes not ready to part it out yet. If you want some parts I think there is a LONG line for the nose. I have inquired a few times but he says NO!!! I'm bummed cause I am close enough for a road trip.

I really don't want to part this thing out guys. I'll end up with a bunch of parts laying around that I can't even put together a complete truck with.

Would it help if this thing was running/driving for $1350ish for the whole package?

How bad is the cab on this truck, Could you PM me some pics of the fire wall, floor, cab corners etc.. Could you PM me your address and I may see if I can come to look at it next weekend and maybe we can make a deal on it. I dont care if it runs, but if the cab, is good, with all those extra parts I guess I could part it out myself.
